5 Parks in Turlock that your Kids Will Love

Turlock is renowned for having an amazing collection of natural spaces that everyone can enjoy – especially the kids. If you’re looking for some new parks to check out with your little ones, make sure you visit these 5 Turlock parks.

Crane Park
1555 E Canal Rd.

Crane Park is a beautiful Turlock destination for the entire family. It’s full of amazing amenities making it a great place to spend the afternoon. Crane Park is home to large trees that offer the perfect reprieve from the California heat, so it’s a great spot during the summer months, too.

Crane Park has sports courts, such as tennis and horseshoe pits, plus an awesome playground for the kids. Sidewalks make for easy walking – even if you have bulky strollers. Their barbecue pits also make it a wonderful place for a picnic or outdoor dinner.

Broadway Park
501 N Broadway St

Broadway Park is loved by the entire community for its tree-filled grounds and lovely greenery. The natural landscape creates various shady spots for your family to camp out while the kids play nearby. This park has tables and benches for added comfort, too.

The winning feature of Broadway Park is the waterpark, so make sure to pack an extra pair of clothes and towels! Your kids will be asking when they’ll get to come back.

Columbia Park
100-199 Columbia St

For more aquatic fun, visit Columbia Park. It’s one of Turlock’s public pools, but it also has a kids play area and a playground. There’s also an on-site waterpark. Everyone loves Columbia Park, not just the little ones. Plan a family day here for a great experience.

Summerfaire Park
1350 Fulkerth Rd.

There’s no better place to bring the kids to run around than Summerfaire Park. There’s a massive grassy field that’s perfect for playing tag, sports, or just sitting on a blanket and getting some sun. Picnic benches are located in a shady area nearby so the adults can watch the kids have fun on the field.

Donnelly Park
600 Pedras Rd.

Donnelly Park features a large scenic pond and fully-equipped barbecue areas. The pond is home to a family of ducks and the kids love to watch and feed them while they play. Donnelly Park is a very peaceful destination to plan for a big picnic. It’s also a lovely place to watch the sunsets.
